How To Choose And Use Vehicle Power Inverter?

In recent years, with the rapid development of society, there are more and more private vehicles in the domestic market. Therefore, as a DC to AC power inverter by DC to AC inverter suppliers used in moving, the vehicle inverter power supply will bring a lot of convenience to your life, and it is a kind of standing vehicle electronic fittings. Let's share how to buy a high-quality car inverter and how to use it after purchase, hoping to help everyone.

1. Know How Many Volts Your Car Battery Voltage Is

Generally, cars use 12-volt batteries. Most cars (including trucks) with diesel engines, such as buses and trucks, use 24-volt batteries, and a few still use 12-volt batteries. Each inverter has a value of DC voltage, so it is required that the selected battery voltage must be consistent with the DC input voltage of the inverter. 12v pure sine inverter must be selected for 12V battery.

2. Know The Capacity Of The Battery

Generally, there are many letters and numbers printed on the battery. As long as you find the words XXAH, you can know what capacity battery it is. Let's talk about the meaning of AH. A stands for ampere, the unit of current, and H stands for hour. The two letters together mean "ampere-hour", referred to as "ampere-hour" for short, that is, how many amperes of current can be continuously output in an hour. The front XX is usually two numbers, namely the number of amperes. For example, 45AH means that this battery can output (12 volts) 45 amps of current in one hour. As for the output power of this battery, we multiply 12 volts by 45 amps to get 540 watts, which is the output power (theoretical value) of this battery. The batteries used in general family cars; Under normal circumstances, small cars with a cylinder volume of less than 1.3 liters are equipped with 40-45 ampere-hours batteries, medium-sized cars with a cylinder volume of 1.6-2.0 liters are equipped with 50-60 ampere-hours batteries, and medium-sized cars with a cylinder volume of more than 2.2 liters are equipped with 60-80 ampere-hours batteries. The battery capacity of off-road vehicles and utility vehicles is generally larger than that of cars with the same engine.

3. After Knowing The Battery Capacity Of Your Car, How To Equip The Battery With A Suitable Inverter

If the specification of the battery is 12 volts and 50 ampere-hours, we multiply 12 volts by 50 ampere-hours, and the output power of the battery is 600 watts. If the efficiency of the inverter is 90%, then we multiply 90% by 600 watts to get 540 watts. That is to say, your battery can drive an inverter with a maximum output of 540 watts.

4. Use Safety Of Vehicle-Mounted Inverter

The car power inverter is a kind of power supply product that works in high current and high frequency environment, and its potential failure rate is quite high. Therefore, consumers must be careful when purchasing. First of all, choose from the inverter output waveform, preferably not lower than the quasi-sine wave (correction wave); Secondly, the inverter wholesale should have complete circuit protection function.
